Swine flu crisis?
The Obama Administration has come to realize their health acre initiative is a non-starter without a good health scare. They need the same panic mentality that allowed them to jam the stimulus bll through in record time. All this from the Administration that promised transparency and assured that voters would always have at least five days to review legislation. To the contrary, this Administration has attempted to ramrod highly expensive legislation through in record time.
“At the moment, except for the people without insurance, we’re not in a health-care crisis,” said Stephen Wayne, a professor of government at Georgetown University in Washington. “You do need a crisis to generate movement in Congress and to help build a consensus.” Bloomberg.com
With the President’s approval rating at its lowest at 42% according to Zogby , opponents of the health care plan are gaining momentum. Americans are showing their displeasure in this attempt to privatize 17% of the economy. The swine flu fervor is being whipped up by the Administration and media shills to instill a sense of crisis among Americans. And make no mistake about it, the President’s planned speech to school children is intended as a low key effort on the same front. The President of the United States of America takes time from his busy day to address the children to warn that they need to wash their hands to avoid this horrible flu. Stir up some fear in children that can be carried home to their parents.
Pay no attention to that man behind the screen. Nothing to see here, just move on…..
